Govt Announces Free Laptop Scheme for Visually Impaired Students

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced a free laptop scheme for blind and visually impaired students to support their access to modern education and digital learning tools.

According to the Department of Social Welfare, visually impaired students enrolled in recognized colleges, universities, or religious seminaries across the province are eligible to apply under this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the laptop scheme, applicants must:

Be a permanent resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Be enrolled in a recognized educational institution
Possess a valid disability certificate issued by the Social Welfare Department

How to Apply

Eligible students are required to submit their applications through the online MIS application form provided by the Social Welfare Department. The online process has been kept simple to ensure ease of access for special students.
