The social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, experienced a global outage, leaving thousands of users unable to access the service across multiple countries.
According to a report by Reuters, outage-tracking website Downdetector.com recorded a sharp increase in complaints from users facing issues with the platform. Downdetector monitors service disruptions based on real-time reports collected from various sources.

Data showed that by 10:35 a.m. US time, more than 41,000 outage reports related to X had been logged worldwide. In the United Kingdom, nearly 8,000 users reported problems, while over 2,400 users in India also complained about being unable to access the platform.
X did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment regarding the disruption.
It is worth noting that earlier this week, X faced a similar service disruption, during which more than 28,300 complaints were reported in the United States and around 8,000 in the UK, raising concerns among users about the platform’s service stability.
