Former Pakistan fast bowler Ehsan Adil is set to continue his international cricket journey after being named in the United States men’s squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
The 32-year-old, who previously represented Pakistan in nine international matches, has been included in the USA squad amid reports that the team for the upcoming T20 World Cup has already been finalized.

USA Squad Finalised Ahead of Sri Lanka Tour
Although the USA Cricket Board has yet to make an official announcement, reliable reports suggest that an 18-member squad has been selected for an upcoming tour of Sri Lanka. The tour will include a five-match T20 series against Sri Lanka A, with Ehsan Adil named in the travelling party.
Senior cricket journalist Peter Della Penna has reported that this squad is expected to remain unchanged for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from 7 February to 8 March 2026.
Ehsan Adil’s Journey From Pakistan to USA
Ehsan Adil made his Test debut for Pakistan in February 2013 against South Africa in Centurion. He went on to play three Tests and six ODIs for Pakistan before 2015, picking up five wickets in Tests and four in ODIs.
Earlier in his career, he was also part of Pakistan’s squad for the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup held in Australia.
