In another major reduction, the 512GB iPhone 14 Plus customs value has been slashed from $1,210 to $1,029.

Consumers have welcomed the move, calling it a much-needed relief amid high smartphone prices in the local market.

Reason Behind the Reduction

Officials said the decision is part of ongoing efforts to align customs values with actual market prices of mobile phones in Pakistan. The revised values were finalized after a detailed review of multiple domestic and international markets, ensuring a more accurate reflection of current device prices.

Expected Impact

The reduction in customs valuation is expected to:

  • Lower overall import costs

  • Reduce retail prices for consumers

  • Increase availability of used and refurbished smartphones

Experts believe the move will help stabilize the mobile phone market and provide greater affordability for premium devices like iPhones.
