The Maryam Nawaz Easy Home Loan 2026, also known as the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” program, is a flagship initiative by CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif to address Pakistan’s housing shortage. The program provides interest-free loans up to Rs. 1.5 Million (15 Lakh) to low- and middle-income families for house construction.

As of January 2026, the scheme has entered a high-velocity phase, targeting 100,000+ houses for completion this year.

Features of the 2026 Scheme

  • Loan Amount: Up to Rs. 1.5 Million for construction.

  • Interest Rate: 0%, only principal repayment.

  • Monthly Installment: ~Rs. 14,000, cheaper than average rent.

  • Grace Period: 3 Months – no payment for first 90 days.

  • Repayment Tenure: 7 to 9 years.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Residency: Permanent Punjab resident (verified via CNIC).

  • Land Ownership:

    • Urban: 1–5 Marlas.

    • Rural: 1–10 Marlas.

  • Income Limit: Preferably under Rs. 60,000/month.

  • Financial Record: No bank defaulters.

  • Poverty Score: PMT ≤ 60 (NSER/PSER database).

How to Apply Online (Step-by-Step)

  1. Visit the Official Portal: acag.punjab.gov.pk

  2. Register: Click “Registration”, enter CNIC, mobile, and email.

  3. Complete Profile: Fill address, family details, and personal info.

  4. Upload Documents:

    • CNIC copy

    • Proof of plot ownership (Registry/Fard/Allotment Letter)

    • Plot photographs

  5. Submit Application: Verify details and submit. Receive tracking ID via SMS from 8070.
