B-Form to Become Student’s Unique ID
Under the proposed system, each student’s B-Form number will be used as their Unique Identification Track and Trace number. Officials say this step will help eliminate duplication and inaccuracies in student records.
The system will also enable authorities to compile authentic data of out-of-school children, allowing the government to design more effective education policies.
Career Planning and Skill Assessment
Sources further revealed that the system will help assess students’ abilities, training needs, and career interests at an early stage. Education planners will be able to identify which professions students are inclined toward, making career counseling and future planning more effective.
Education experts believe the move will improve student tracking, transparency, and long-term human capital planning in Punjab’s education sector.
The initiative is being seen as a major step toward data-driven education reforms in the province.
