Expected Eid-ul-Fitr Date

Experts have also predicted that the Shawwal moon may be sighted on March 20, which would place Eid-ul-Fitr on March 21, 2026 in Pakistan.

However, astronomers caution that weather conditions and moon sighting reports can influence the final announcement.

Likely Eid-ul-Adha Date

Regarding Eid-ul-Adha, astronomers estimate that the month of Dhul-Hijjah is likely to begin on May 17, which means Eid-ul-Adha could fall on May 27, 2026, based on current calculations.

Moon Sighting Remains Final Authority

Despite these forecasts, experts emphasize that religious dates in Pakistan are officially confirmed only after moon sighting, meaning minor changes remain possible.
