The Sindh government has officially announced a public holiday in schools on the occasion of Shab-e-Miraj, and a formal notification has been issued by the provincial education department.
According to the notification, all public and private educational institutions across Sindh will remain closed on January 17 in observance of Shab-e-Miraj.

In addition to Sindh, Kuwait and Oman have also announced official holidays on the occasion of Shab-e-Miraj.

In Kuwait and Oman, a public holiday will be observed on January 18, during which all government and private institutions will remain closed.

Schools and colleges in both countries will also remain closed.

Shab-e-Miraj will be observed on the night of 27th Rajab 1447 Hijri.
However, the United Arab Emirates has not announced any public holiday for Shab-e-Miraj.
